About First Credit Advice
FCA-authorised debt advice you can trust. Helping individuals and businesses across the UK since 2012.
FCA-authorised debt help since 2012
First Credit Advice Limited has supported individuals and businesses with debt and credit-file issues since 2012. We give clear, practical guidance on creditor pressure, court action, defaults, CIFAS markers, mortgage arrears, tax debt and business debt.
Our role is to explain your options in plain English, including free debt advice services and any relevant cancellation rights, before you decide whether a paid service is appropriate.
We do not promise outcomes we cannot control. Where we can help, we agree the scope and fees in writing before paid work begins. Where free or alternative support is more suitable, we will say so.
What We Do
We advise on secured debts such as mortgage arrears and vehicle finance, unsecured debts such as credit cards, personal loans and payday loans, and government debts such as overpaid benefits, self-assessment tax, VAT and PAYE/NIC. We also help with credit-file disputes, CCJs, CIFAS markers and business debt.
We provide both free initial guidance and paid services where appropriate. Free alternatives — such as those offered by MoneyHelper, StepChange, National Debtline, and Citizens Advice — are always explained first, as required by the FCA.
